Chocolate Crispy Bites
Ingredients (to make 16 Chocolate Crispy Bites)
- 300g white chocolate, roughly chopped
- 110g butter, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 100g toasted rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies)
- 50g milk chocolate, roughly chopped
Method
Line a slice pan with baking paper.
Place the white chocolate and butter in a medium heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (make sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water). Stir occasionally with a metal spoon until the chocolate and butter is completely melted and well combined. Add the golden syrup and stir until well combined.
Add the rice cereal to the chocolate mixture and stir quickly until well combined and then pour mixture into prepared pan.
Press down into the pan and smooth the surface.
Place the milk chocolate in a medium heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (make sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water). Stir occasionally with a metal spoon until the chocolate is melted. Using the spoon, drizzle the milk chocolate over the top of the slice. Set aside until chocolate sets.
Lift slice from pan and cut into small pieces using a knife. Enjoy!
This recipe can be easily altered – try reversing the chocolates and make a milk chocolate slice with white chocolate drizzles…
These look so simple yet so amazing – will definitely have to try them!
