I love banana bread but added coconut and chocolate chips sound even nicer!
Hi, I have a question from somebody outside UK – what´s „self-raising flour“? It contains yeast or what?
Michala
Apparently Self Raising Flour is only in Australia :/
To make this use the same amount of Plain (All Purpose) Flour but add 1 & 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp salt.
Thanks. I thought it would be somethink like that. I will try it, it looks delicious 🙂
This is a very delicious banana bread recipe.
I remember when I was younger I would eat so much chocolate chip banana bread! It’s amazing how much the chocolate adds to simply banana bread.
This looks so lovely – exactly the comfort food we need right now in cold old England!
