Video Recipe: Chocolate Pots

Budget German supermarket chain Aldi may not seem the most obvious destination for quality video content, but they’ve recently started a video podcast (available on iTunes and YouTube) with celebrity chef Phil Vickery.

The videos feature a variety of recipes, but this one is all about chocolate, which is why I’m telling you about it. Obviously.

These chocolate pots sound quite tasty. I make something similar, but I use Mexican chocolate instead of the bittersweet and top it off with a cinnamon-brown-sugar topping which is torched to make a creme brulee. I love the idea of the white chocolate topping and shaved chocolate. Great video.

LOVE the boiling water around the pots idea. I used to do that when I made muffins and other baked goods, but it never dawned on me for chocolate pots. I can’t wait to try it out.
