Mars to end advertising to under 12s

MarsAccording to The Telegraph, Masterfoods – the maker of Mars products – is to stop advertising its products to under 12s.

The firm said: “We have decided to make an official policy change to a cut-off age of 12 years for all our core products.”

While this is undoubtadley a good thing, I wonder if we can all look forward to brand new Mars ads aimed specifically at 13 year olds very soon..

  1. Yeah, cause everyone knows that kids wouldn’t even know what a candy bar is without advertisement. IMO this is just more Nanny State piffle.
