Jim: I think they know it's been a bit of a mess and they want to change - they just can't do it too quickly. Not sure what their financial situation is like, but but I don know that the <a href="http://www.chocablog.com/reviews/thorntons-dark-chocolate-with-chilli/" rel="nofollow">chilli choc bar</a> is their best seller now, so there's a definite demand for the newer stuff. I have always been a little confused by Thorntons' marketing strategy! On one hand they seem to want to offer quality ... but on the other value. In my opinion offering both ends of the spectrum confuses the brand image in the mindset of the consumer, which at present means they are sitting in 'no mans land'!
