Event: Hans Sloane Chocolate & Fine Food Festival

The Hans Sloane Chocolate and Fine Food Festival takes place in the grounds of Killyleagh Castle on Sunday, 23rd September 2012 between 12 noon and 6pm. Co. Down is well known as a centre for fine food production and this year, both Finnebrogue Venison and Mash Direct, along with Down District Council are sponsoring our festival.

The day will be jam-packed with the very best of Fun, Frolics and Fine Food. Killyleagh Castle, located at the top of the picturesque High Street in the village, is a fairytale venue. A large marquee will be on the front lawn, filled with the finest food producers from the Co. Down area and a selection of the best Chocolatiers that Ireland has to offer. Browse the many stalls, taste, nibble and buy from a wonderful array of goodies.

With the support of Good Food NI and the NITB, we will have a dedicated Demonstration Kitchen for all you foodies to watch the experts and pick up some tips and recipes!
